Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Park in the free main lot in front of the base lodge when you arrive. When it fills, use overflow lot C, about 0.25 mile north of the main lot.
- Buy lift tickets online before you arrive. Tickets are limited and can sell out, and tickets ordered more than 9 days ahead are mailed, so pick-up at the window is avoided.
- With an Epic Pass or pre-loaded lift ticket card, skip the base lodge ticket line: park and take the walkway left of the base lodge across the bridge to the lifts.
- Wildcat Express, the high-speed quad, is the main way up the mountain, so expect the most lift lines there on holiday and February vacation weekdays.
