Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Park in the Gondola Parking Garage in Mountain Village before 3 pm, or use the free Carhenge lot at 700 W Pacific Ave in town. Parking is $15 a day Mon–Thu and $25 a day Fri–Sun from 6:30 am to 3 pm, and the garage is free from 3 pm to 2 am.
- Mon–Thu is the lighter stretch on the mountain and in parking. Compare Mon–Thu and Fri–Sun before you pick a ski day, since parking costs $10 a day more on weekends.
- Buy lift tickets online in advance rather than at the window. Window lines form at the ticket office by the base of chair 8 and at the Lift 7 window near Carhenge. Online tickets must be bought at least 4 days before first use.
- Ride the free Galloping Goose bus or the gondola between town and Mountain Village instead of driving the single access road. Epic Pass holders need the physical pass card to ski here, so bring it.
