Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Main parking lot fills first. A Reserved Parking Pass guarantees a spot until 11 am. Otherwise, arrive before 8 am on powder days, since the base lot fills around 8:30 am in winter.
- When the main lot is full, attendants send cars to the access road or the Healy Creek lot near the highway. Shuttles run from both to the gondola base.
- Take the free daily shuttle from Banff hotels and the Town parking lot to skip parking entirely.
- The gondola takes about 25 minutes. The resort recommends arriving at the base by 3:30 pm to finish a full day. Midweek is lighter than weekends and holidays.
