Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Lower-mountain access lifts open at 8:00 am and the main mountain lifts at 8:30 am, so arriving before 8:30 gets you on the mountain ahead of most of the crowd.
  • Lifts close at 3:50 pm. Plan to be on the upper mountain by early afternoon to avoid the end-of-day rush down the lower mountain.
  • Mountain Collective and window tickets are sold at the Base Lodge ticket windows from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Buy in advance to skip the line.
  • New England Gold pass holders get a First Tracks hour on the SuperQuad and Skyline starting at 7:30 am on Sundays and select weekdays.
