Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Weekdays, especially Tuesday through Thursday, are the least crowded. Early laps on Ursa before the rest of the mountain fills in are a common tip.
- Permit parking in the main base lot and the Sun Bowl lot is held from about 7am to 1pm and the entire garage can be held on busy weekends and holidays. On those days, go straight to Lot 1 and take the shuttle.
- Shuttles run about 6am to 5pm. Move your car back to the main lot before 5pm when you can, because later shuttles run less often.
- The Sun Bowl side of the mountain usually has shorter lines, and the Sun Bowl lot shuttle runs on weekends and holidays.
