Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Parking is paid Friday through Sunday and on peak dates at the Meadows Lot ($15/day, free after 1 p.m.) and the Upper and Lower Knoll lots. Vehicles with 3 or more people park free in the Meadows Lot on paid days, so carpooling or arriving after 1 p.m. is the cheapest way to get in.
  • Upper Knoll advance reservations open Oct 19, 2026 through ParkMobile and must be booked by 10 p.m. the night before. A reservation holds a space until 10 a.m. Carpools of 3+ can reserve free Upper Knoll parking in advance. Reservations cover Upper Knoll only.
  • Plan for Dec 26 to Jan 3, Feb 15, and Mar 4, which the resort treats as peak parking periods. Arrive earlier or use the Meadows Lot on those days.
  • Weekday lines are typically lighter than weekends because most visitors are destination travelers, not Denver day-trippers. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the easiest days to ski.
