Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Parking reservations are required before 11 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from Dec 18, 2026, through Mar 28, 2027. Lots open at 7 a.m. Arrivals after 11 a.m. park without a reservation, and after 1 p.m. parking is free.
- Monday through Thursday (non-holiday) needs no parking reservation, and parking is free for 1 to 3 person vehicles in the early and late season. Midweek is the least crowded option.
- Moonbeam Parking Lot is the main day-use lot and serves the Moonbeam Express, Eagle Express and Link lifts. Vehicles with 4 or more people park free on reservation days with a reservation.
- The UTA Ski Bus is free for Solitude and Ikon Pass holders and avoids weekend parking reservations. Budget extra time for canyon traffic on storm days, when traction rules can apply.
