Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Book parking online at least 24 hours ahead on paid dates ($25 to $30 at Snow Valley). Day-of spots are sold only if still available, and the base lots typically fill by 7:30 AM on weekends and peak days.
- Paid parking runs Dec 4 to 6 and Dec 11 to 31, plus most of January and February. Free first-come parking applies on other days, such as Jan 11 to 14, so midweek visits in that gap are easiest.
- Snow Valley Anytime, Ikon, and BBMR Anytime or Midweek pass holders park free at Snow Valley, so skip the reservation step if you hold one of those.
- Highway 18 shoulders are no-parking and enforced, and there is no overflow lot or shuttle. If the reserved lot sells out, you will be turned away, so pick a different day. Carry chains on storm days.
