Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Mid-week days in January and February are the least crowded, and the resort's peak winter weekends are the busiest days.
- Park in the free lot above the Silver Queen chairlift for direct access to the slopes, or use the Putnam Creek lot to reach the backside runs without going through the village.
- Plan for early-morning snow clearing on the access road after nightly snowfall over 2 inches; drive with winter tires and allow extra time on the 22 km road from Vernon.
