Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Buy lift tickets online. The window is priced higher even on the day of your visit, and the mountain's own guidance warns that window waits of 30 minutes or more are common on busy days.
- Indy Pass holders can reserve days in the Saddleback shop until 7am on the day of the visit and go directly to the lift, which skips the ticket window.
- Ski on weekdays when you can. Saddleback runs limited weekday hours, so check the hours page before you drive up, and avoid Dec 26 to Jan 1 and the Feb vacation week if you can.
- Maine residents get 50% off the window rate every Thursday, which is also a lighter day on the hill.
