Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Clock Tower base general lot is free and typically fills by 8:30am on weekends and holidays, and the Loft Lot fills by 9am, so arrive before 8:30am or park at Jackson Gore.
- Jackson Gore parking (Ice House and Meadow lots) is free with shuttle service on weekends and holidays; the Meadow Lot is overflow used when other lots are full, and Jackson Gore is usually less backed up than the main base lot.
- The Solitude area and Jackson Gore Express are reported to have shorter lines, and the Solitude lift rarely sees long lines; midweek is the quietest time.
- Epic Pass holders do not need reservations to ski; lift tickets are limited and sell out, so buy day tickets in advance.
