Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Ride the Grand Summit Express instead of the Bluebird Express. The Bluebird bubble draws the crowds, while the Grand Summit Express next to it reaches nearly the same summit with little or no line.
  • Weekday arrival: roll in by 9am for a free spot in Lot D, the Tiered Lots, or Lot E. On weekends and school-vacation weeks such as Presidents' Week, arrive before 8:30am or use the free MOOver shuttle along Route 9 and Route 100.
  • On busy weekends the main face sends skiers into the Bluebird by about 9:30am. Start on the North Face or Sunbrook and work back to the main face later.
  • Lift ticket sales are capped this season and days can sell out. Buy online ahead of the visit date.
