Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Parking is first come, first served with no reserving spaces, and the main lot sits next to the Main Lodge. Arrive early on weekends and holidays, since the lot fills first.
- The Zephyr Express at Winters Creek Lodge opens at 8:30 am for season pass holders, about 30 minutes before the 9:00 am general opening.
- Half-day tickets are sold for 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Afternoon tickets are often discounted on some Fridays and Saturdays, so check the daily specials page before buying.
- Buy lift tickets online by midnight the day before for the lower rates. Same-day tickets are only sold at the resort ticket windows at full price.
