Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Sunrise and Skyliner lots fill first on weekends and holidays. West Village is the largest lot and the calmest, so park there and use the paid shuttle between bases if you need to move.
- Weekend traffic on Century Drive is typically worst around 7:30 to 10:00 am and 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Leaving Bend early or waiting until after the morning rush avoids the worst of the backup.
- Buy day tickets online at least a week ahead. Window prices on peak days run well above online advance rates.
- Visit Oregon says crowds thin after spring break, and the late-season spring skiing through late May is often less busy than holiday weeks.
