Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Go on a weekday. Weekend lots, especially the West Resort lot, fill early, and Saturday mornings are the worst. Arrive before 9 AM on weekends if you must go.
- Highway 2 is not a parking option. The Wrightwood CSD asks visitors not to park on the road, so use the resort lots, paid premium lots near the lifts if you arrive late, or plan to leave early.
- Night skiing at West Resort, mostly Wednesday through Sunday during peak periods and up to seven nights when conditions allow, is usually calmer and about half the daytime price.
- Buy tickets and rentals online at least 48 hours ahead. The rental counter lines on busy mornings are long for walk-ups.
