Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Buy lift tickets online by 11:59 p.m. two days before your visit for 15% off. The resort caps daily ticket sales, so an online ticket also guarantees access on busy days.
  • Parking is mainly at the summit lot, which is large. Base-area lots near Petite-Rivière-Saint-François are smaller, so arrive early on Fridays and Sundays, when weekend crowds build.
  • Lines tend to build at the gondola base and the summit Poma. Midweek visits, Monday to Thursday, usually see the shortest waits.
  • On busy days the lower-mountain green runs converge and congest near the bottom. Staying higher on the mountain or using the chairs to reach upper terrain avoids most of it.
