Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- River Run and Mountain House main lots usually fill by about 10 a.m. on weekends and holidays. Arrive before 9 a.m. or come after 1 p.m., when parking generally reopens.
- Mountain House East is the closest free lot to the Peru lift. Its West lot is paid.
- Night skiing runs from 3 to 8 p.m. on select nights and is included with lift tickets, which gives a quieter option on busy days.
- Westbound I-70 on Saturdays is heaviest around 8 to 10 a.m. Eastbound on Sundays builds from about 11:30 a.m. and peaks 3 to 6 p.m. Leave the resort by early afternoon or after 7 p.m.
