Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Ikon and Mountain Collective holders need a lift reservation for every day they plan to ski here, so check the online store before you drive up. Resort-pass and walk-up skiers do not need one.
  • Teton Village lots charge by the day (about $35 to $45 in the Base, Mid and Upper Village lots; $18 to $25 in the Ranch Lot). Park free at the Stilson Lot, 7 miles away, and ride the free START Bus or Stilson Shuttle, which runs about every 15 minutes. Peak parking days include Dec 26 to 31, Jan 16 to 17, Feb 12 to 15, and weekends from Jan 2 to Mar 21.
  • Ranch Lot parking is free for cars with four or more people, and the Teton Village Association's JH Insider app shows live lot capacity.
  • Pre-purchased lift tickets can be picked up 24/7 at the automated pick-up box outside the Tickets & Guest Services building in Teton Village, so you can skip the window line.
