Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Eagle Point will not operate in the 2026-27 season because of the Cottonwood Fire, so there are no lift lines or lot queues to plan around. Check skiutah.com/members/eagle-point/snowreport before any trip.
  • If it reopens, its Friday-to-Monday schedule means Powder Friday runs are often the least crowded. The resort announces Powder Fridays on social media and starts lifts at 9:30 a.m. on those days.
  • Parking is free with no reservations. The main lot is at Skyline Lodge and fills first on weekends, so Canyonside Lodge parking is an alternative. A free shuttle runs between the two lodges.
  • Last chair has historically run at 4:30 p.m. and the resort has no night skiing, so plan to leave the mountain before the end-of-day traffic on UT-153 back to Beaver.
