Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Midweek is the quiet window. A crowd guide rates Monday to Friday as quiet and weekends as moderate, so plan Jan 4 to Feb 12 weekdays if you can.
- Buy lift tickets online ahead of time. Advance pricing is higher within one week of the visit date, so the lower rate applies only if you book early.
- Twilight tickets start at 4 pm and the night-lit trails are a quieter option on busy days, especially midweek.
- Dec 23 to Jan 1 and Feb 15 to 19 overlap with Rochester and Buffalo school breaks, so expect the heaviest traffic and lift lines those days.
