Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Arrive before 9 AM on weekends and holidays to get close parking; both the Giant Steps and Navajo base lots are free and need no reservation.
- Park at Navajo Lodge if you are a beginner or family, since it is the quieter base with the learning center; use the free resort shuttle between bases instead of driving Highway 143 between them.
- Do not park on Brian Head Town roads from Nov 1 through Apr 30; use the resort lots or the three designated town lots (Town Hall, Village Way, or the Chair #1 lot in South Brian Head) to avoid tickets and snowplow delays.
- Buy online ahead of time; the resort's lowest prices and the $10 Brian Head Cash credit only apply to online purchases, and the window is more crowded on busy days.
