Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Ski Mon-Thu on non-holiday dates. Bretton Woods gives First Tracks lift access 30 minutes before the public on those days, and midweek is the lightest stretch on the calendar.
- Lifts open at 9 AM and the base lodge opens at 9 AM, so arriving before 8:30 AM on weekends and holidays gets you a parking spot and a shorter lift line before the morning rush.
- White Mountain Super Pass and Bold & Beautiful holders get preferred weekend and holiday parking until 10 AM, so the early arrival window matters most for day-ticket buyers.
- A skier on Reddit reports the red lot fills first and the blue lot gets crowded later in the day, so aim for the red lot if you arrive mid-morning.
