Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Mondays outside the peak periods carry a $49 full-day ticket, but the Dec 26 to Jan 2, Jan 16 to 18 and Feb 13 to 15 peak dates have no $49 Mondays. Midweek is the quietest time to ski.
  • Parking at the base lodge is free, but parking is banned for two miles along Bolton Valley Access Road from Route 2. If the lot fills, keep driving or come on a weekday rather than parking on the road shoulder.
  • The Tuesday to Saturday late-day ticket (1 pm to 10 pm) and night skiing from 4 pm, Wednesday to Saturday, put you on the hill after the morning arrival rush. Lifts open at 9 am daily.
