Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Carpools of 3 or more get priority parking in the front half of Lot #1 on peak weekends and holidays from 9 am until early afternoon. Solo drivers are sent to the back half of Lot #1, Lot #3, Lot #4, Buttercup, Silver Queen, or Pioneer.
- The resort has advised getting through the stop signs at the bottom of the hill by 7:30 am for a guaranteed space on weekends and holidays. In a past season, the lots filled around 10:30 am on a snowy Sunday.
- The $10 cash bus from Nampa, Meridian, Eagle, and the Bogus Basin Road park-and-ride runs weekends and holidays and guarantees a day ticket on arrival, even on sold-out days. The 2026-27 bus schedule was due to post in November.
- Lifts now open at 9 am daily. Weekend pass holders on Value passes can't ride before 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays from Dec 19 to Mar 7, so those skiers tend to arrive later in the day. Night skiing runs until 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and 10 pm Friday and Saturday.
