Beating the crowds
- Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, and weekday mornings, are the least crowded times, according to OnTheSnow.
- Lift tickets are date-specific and must be bought online. Pick up at the Summit or Valley Lodge ticket boxes or scan the confirmation barcode at the RFID gates to skip the ticket counter line.
- Free parking is at both the Summit Lodge and Valley Lodge. Premium paid spots are also available. Arriving before 9 AM on weekends is suggested by a third-party travel site, since Blue Mountain Drive traffic builds up on ski weekends.
