Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Indy Pass holders must reserve a date online before visiting, and the resort says this is to keep lines and slopes less crowded. Reserve a midweek date and check in at the ticket window on arrival.
  • Tickets are date-specific and the resort lists its daily sell-out status online. Check the calendar before picking a day, because sold-out days get no added tickets at the window.
  • Midweek visits (Monday to Friday) are the resort's lowest-priced days according to its lift ticket page, and the Midweek Season Pass is valid only Monday through Friday.
  • Night skiing runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm, which gives a late-day option outside the daytime rush. Night skiing is covered by full-day tickets when the lifts are open.
