Beating the crowds

  • Tuesday to Thursday is quietest almost everywhere, and often cheaper.
  • Buy lift tickets online before you arrive, since the ticket windows are subject to availability and online purchases skip the window line.
  • Norquay's listed hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., so arriving by 9 a.m. gets you parking and first chair ahead of the main crowd.
  • On fresh-snow days, the North American Chair area is less trafficked, according to OnTheSnow, so start there for the first runs.
